Dynamic Stretching

Get To Know Dynamic Stretching

Dynamic stretching are active movements which gets the joints and muscles moving in a full range of motion.  Dynamic stretching helps warm up the body before any exercise. It can also mimic the activity or sports you are about to do. Dynamic stretching promotes blood flow and prepare muscles and ligaments.

Why Go Dynamic?

Dynamic stretching has many benefits according to Journal of Sports Science & Medicine "Dynamic stretching is often performed during warm-up to help avoid hamstring muscle injuries, increase joint flexibility, and optimize performance."

When Do You Perform Dynamic Stretching?

Dynamic stretching's goal is to activate your joints and muscles, as well as warm your body up. The ideal time to perform this type of stretching is before your activity, sport, or exercise.  It is important to warm up the body before any activity but dynamic stretching is not necessary after the activity.
